We Have Found the Messiah

Let’s face it, humanity screwed up. We were living in paradise in communion with God and we managed to find a way to mess it up. We gave into selfish temptations, broke our relationship with God, and got kicked out of paradise. Ever since our fall, humanity has been searching for a savior.

Even to this day, people manage to screw up something good they have and end up hurting themselves and others who love them. How many men are married to beautiful, smart, and wonderful women and yet still cheat on them with another woman? They have something great right in front of them and yet decide to throw it all away. On one side, the world tells us to do whatever makes us happy. It doesn’t matter if our actions hurt others, it only matters if we are happy. On the other side, Jesus tells us to not only love our neighbor, but also our enemies. Jesus says that selflessness and humility are the keys to happiness. We all have free will to listen to whoever we want, but there are always consequences to the decisions we make.

Jesus, our savior, has come and He finally ended our exile from paradise. The door to Heaven is wide open and yet people are still choosing not to enter. Jesus suffered and sacrificed a lot to show us the way to happiness, so we should do our best to listen to Him and follow Him. I would be sad if I gave all my love to someone, only to be ignored.

There are so many people who feel lonely and unloved. However, we are all loved immensely by Jesus. Even if everyone rejects us, know that Jesus will always love us. Even when we commit the worst sins, Jesus still loves us. He may be disappointed and sad to see us drifting away from Him, but He still loves us. Try to always see the blessings we have in this life and appreciate them. If we practice selfless love and stay close to Jesus, we will find our way back to paradise.
